Napoli Teatro Festival Italia continues its activities

After months of uncertainty, Napoli Teatro Festival Italia continues its activities. From February 28 has a new President, Councillor of Culture Caterina  Miraglia, and a new director Luca  De Fusco, who directed the Teatro Stabile del Veneto from  2000 to 2009 and founded two previous festival in Campania: Festival delle Ville Vesuviane and Piccolo Festival Europeo of Anacapri.

Here is the 2011 edition of Napoli Teatro Festival  Italia! It will take off on June 26 at the Teatro di San Carlo with the return of Robert Lepage. The first part of the Festival will end on July 17 with the last repetitions of the show L'opera da tre soldi (The Threepenny Opera) featuring Massimo Ranieri and Lina Sastri directed by the new art director of the Festival Luca De Fusco, and with the concert Exeredati Mundi - via dolorosa del mondo by Enzo Avitabile.

July, however, is not the final date of the Festival, which will proceed this year from September to the beginning of October with other significant performances featuring important European directors and choreographers such as Lluis Pasqual e Maurizio Scaparro.
